Terms of Service
Effective August 8, 2026. This is placeholder language covering the basic shape of an engagement — have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it for a real client contract.
Scope of engagement
Work begins only after both parties agree to a written proposal describing the specific deliverables, timeline, and price. Anything not described in that proposal is considered out of scope and handled as a separate change request.
Payment
Projects are billed in milestones: typically a deposit before work begins, followed by payments at agreed checkpoints through the proposal. Final deliverables are provided upon receipt of final payment.
Intellectual property
Ownership of the custom code, designs, and other deliverables created for your project transfers to you upon receipt of full payment. Loxi's Apps retains the right to reuse general-purpose tools, components, and techniques developed during the engagement on other projects.
Liability
Loxi's Apps will perform work in a professional manner but is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the delivered software, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
These general terms may be updated from time to time; the terms that apply to a specific engagement are the ones in the signed proposal for that engagement.
